Sun Crest View Apartments- These are located at 608 E. Main, Weir, KS. One bedroom and efficiency apartments are for senior and /or disabled individuals and families. The rent for these units is based on income. To qualify, applicants must meet income guidelines. Cherokee Duplex Units- These are located at Maple and Vine Streets in the City of Cherokee, KS.  SEK-CAP offers duplex units for persons 55 or older and/or disabled at this location. RENTAL SUBSIDY NOW AVAILABLE! These are one bedroom total electric units with washer and dryer hook-ups. They include range, refrigerator, central heat and air conditioning. Electricity is the only tenant-paid utility. To qualify, applicants must meet income guidelines. CHOICES Apartments- These apartments offer upstairs living in downtown Pittsburg, KS.  These are newly remodeled two bedroom, one bath apartments on the second floor. All total electric units here have central heat and air conditioning with range and refrigerator. Monthly rent $362 plus electric. NO PETS AND NO SMOKING. CHDO Housing- SEK-CAP is a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO), as certified by Kansas Housing Resources Corporation. As such, we offer additional affordable single family and duplex rental units in the following towns: Iola, Erie, Saint Paul, Oswego, Cherryvale and Girard. Rent is not subsidized and ranges from $400-$450 per month for three bedroom ranch-style homes. Rent varies based on SEK-CAP or the tenant providing the stove and refrigerator. All rentals have central heating and air conditioning with double pane windows and vinyl siding. Some have two bathrooms and some have one and a half bathrooms. Based on location, some of these homes have one or two car attached garages and some have storage buildings. All units are plumbed and wired for washers and dryers, to be provided by the tenant.
