Here for Southeast Kansans.
Every step of the way.

Community Service

Community Services Block Grant (CSBG) collaborates with government and non-profit bodies to empower low-income individuals seeking opportunities on a path to self-sufficiency.

Early Childhood

Our Early Childhood Education program, including Head Start and Early Head Start, serves income-qualified families with children aged 0-5 and expectant mothers across our twelve counties. We offer services to families who are not able to qualify and can pay for the service.

Housing

SEK-CAP offers 52 affordable homes, apartments, and duplexes across Southeast Kansas. Eligibility hinges on meeting income guidelines, specifically having a gross income at or below 50% of Area Median Income.

Transportation

In collaboration with the Kansas Department of Transportation, our General Public Transportation offers safe, affordable travel options. Check out services in your area.

Weatherization

Our Weatherization program reduces utility costs by improving home energy efficiency. Eligible households receive an energy assessment and based on the findings, we may initiate repairs, installations, and upgrades.
